The service
UsernameChecker provides informational hints about whether a username or shop handle appears taken on public profile URLs or APIs (including GitHub’s Users API). Results are approximate. Platforms may block automated checks, reserve names, or change pages without notice.
Availability is not guaranteed. Always confirm on the destination service before you register, buy, or print a brand.
Acceptable use
You may use the checker to choose a handle for your own project, shop, or account. You may not:
- Harass, stalk, impersonate, or investigate private individuals
- Use results to send spam or phishing
- Attempt to break into this site or third-party platforms
- Overload the checker with automated bulk requests beyond a normal personal use
- Misrepresent our results as official GitHub or platform data
No people-search
This is not a directory of persons. Public profile links are generated from the handle you typed, not from identity records. We do not claim that a taken handle belongs to any particular person.
